CMVA Certified Vibration Analysts not on the list
If your name is not on the list of CMVA Certified Vibration Analysts, you may not be certified.
Some of our rules have changed:
Before June 1, 2020, it was a requirement to be a member for the full certification period to validate certification.
Starting June 1, 2020, as a requirement of ISO 17024, there is no longer a tie between membership and certification.
To clarify, if you were not a member before June 1, 2020 and wish to certify, you will need to purchase the missing year(s). This also applies if you held membership for a non-continuous period, i.e. if you skipped a year(s), the missed year(s) must be purchased, in order to be considered certified and appear on the CMVA Certified Vibration Analysts web page.
If you were a certified analyst on June 1, 2020 (very important date) or became certified after this date, you are certified to the end of your certification period, whether you are a member or not.
Under the old system, certification renewal was free if you were a member for the full period of your certification.
Under the new system there is a $350 renewal fee, however this fee is waived if you have been a member for the full term of your certification.
As always, any questions/comments/concerns should be addressed to the Executive Director at (416) 622-1170 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
